By the time Jean returned to the surface--clutching his father's sword tight to his chest-- 
6 months had passed. (Or June had passed.)

Weary, the soft light of sunset greeted him, but soon the darkness of a night in Verdite's
quiet, foggy woods settled upon the warrior.

The next morning Jean made his way to the castle, bearing the Moonlight Sword, pronouncing
the source of the monsters' defeat. And soon the royal families were banished!

And now, once again only legend lingers in Verdite. The cemetery now returned to a silence.
Jean's realized his secret desire to surpass his father's swordsmanship won't be fulfilled.
This holy sword invested with Jean's memories and feelings for his father will be expected
to protect their small country for now...
