深い森と、その回りを渦巻く風により霧に包まれた
ヴァーダイトと呼ばれる小さな国があった。

遙か昔、大きな戦いで人々が傷ついたときにヴァーダイトを救い
森の中に消え去った者がいた。
それがいったい何者だったのかは、今となっては森の霧にしか
わからなくなってしまったが.....

人々はそれを「森の竜』と呼び、神殿を築き崇拝してきた。
だが今ではその伝説だけが残され、神殿は王家の墓所へと
姿を変えて静まり返っている。

「いつの日か、森の竜が魔導器を携え帰ってくる。」と
伝説は語っている。
しかし、今はまだ神殿の奥深く眠つているのであると.....	

時は過ぎ、ヴァーダイト王は竜の神殿に眠る魔導器を求めて
護衛隊を墓所に送るようになっていた。
しかしあるとき墓所に魔物が溢?れ、兵は全滅してしまう。
									      
護衛隊長を父に持つ青年、ジャンはその報を聞き
父を探すために魔物の？？止まぬ墓所へ降りていった。

Once upon a time there was a small country called
Verdite residing deep inside a wind buffetted
wood shrowded in thick fog or mist.

A long time ago, a great war caused great losses.
Except in Verdite, where a lone rescuer came to it. 
Except it's said he disappeared into the woods after!
What was he??? It's said only the fog or mist knows!!
He's gone, except.....

We came to call him our Dragon of the Forest; built
temples in this name, until now only legend lingers.
Now the temple grounds lay under the royal cemetery.
All is quiet there.

The old legend says our Dragon of the Forest will 
return, bringing with him vessels of magic. However 
all remains quiet.....

Time has passed. A new king seeks vessels of magic
which he believes remain within the dragon temple.
He was supposed to send his guard to the cemetery.
However, one day the tomb was overrun by monsters,
and the soldiers were all wiped out.

Jean--a man whose father leads the guard--learns this.
He descends the crypt of monsters to find his father.
