This folder can get slow as the number of shortcuts grows.
This is because Window's uses its IShellLink system that's
a hundred times too slow. It's very slow in PrtsEdit's file
dialogues. What you can do is select the shortcuts and open
Properties, and set them Hidden. Then make sure your system
doesn't show hidden files if they appear ghostly afterward.
Just remember the shortcuts are there, hidden, even if you
can't see them.
